On January 14th and 21st, students from GE House Food & Nutrition Class demonstrated their knowledge of basic concepts of food product development by cooking a Potluck dish. Students used the planning process to brainstorm what they were going to make, figured out how to get their dish made, and served their dish to participating faculty during all three lunches in the Commons. Faculty provided feedback on all dishes.
Each dish included a poster display with the production of the product at various stages, nutrition information, equipment used including safety and sanitation procedures, and product summary.
