Associate Superintendent Mr. Gary Comley goes to China

Mr. Comley was noticeably missing from the high school last month as he spent a week traveling to China with other educatorsvisiting schools and tourist sites. Mr. Comley visited the Lama Temple and Confucius Temple. The Lama Temple was where people prayed to Buddha and the Confucius Temple was where the Chinese philosopher, Confucius went to study. Mr. Comley also visited the Great Wall and sites where the Olympics were held. According to Mr. Comley, he tried to climb the Great Wall which is very steep. Mr. Comley cited an Old Chinese proverb: “he who climbs the Great Wall is a true man or true woman.”
