Both GE team 9 and 10 got lucky with good weather for their annual field trips. The days of their field trips started out dismally, eventually the rain stopped and a good time was had by all.
On May 5, 2010, a group of 50 GE tenth graders traveled to New York City where they visited Madison Square Garden, South Street Seaport, and Bodies… The Exhibition. Team leaders Mrs. Darlene Azzaretti and Mr. David Marinaccio, were assisted by Ms. Lauren Incitti and Paras Mr. Roger Tiberio and Ms. AnnMarie Davis.

On May 12, 2010, a group of 43 GE ninth grade students traveled to Connecticut where they visited the Mystic Aquarium and then went on a 90 minute experiment-filled Biological Cruise on Long Island Sound. A tour of the beautiful Avery Point Campus of the University of Connecticut, New London, Connecticut was also a part of the trip with lunch on campus. Team leaders Mr. John Spezzaferro and Mrs. Josephine Sorensen were assisted by Mrs. Kris Foote and Ms. Deb Larkin.
